Everything that constitutes our daily life, and that allows it, is the result of inventions. Whether it is objects or engines, electric or by fuel, everything we can do is possible thanks to inventions. Inventions that are private or that have fallen into the public domain.
We owe them our quality of life and standard of living. So if they structure and shape them, we must have the best possible system of inventions.
It must evolve to allow each of us to have the best.

If the patent system has brought benefits to Humanity over the last two centuries, it is no longer adapted to a new phase of evolution of Humanity. Worse, it is even an obstacle.

When we think of inventions, we often or almost always associate this notion with a capacity to produce goods or services. An innovation is perceived as something that can be “touched” or at least perceived by one of our 5 senses.
But inventions can take other forms. Particularly from a legal point of view.
Thus the economic and social “novelties” that were the concept of private property and corporate actions have forged our civilization more than the invention of electricity or the steam engine.
A new system of universal patents for ideas and methods may have the same potential.

Obstacles to overcome

Faced with the challenges, constraints and disruptions that humanity and the planet are experiencing, the old solutions are not adapted to provide the necessary answers.
We will have to apply adequate solutions more and more quickly, more often and more everywhere.

From propeller to jet engine

In the same way that the passage of civil airplanes from the propeller to the jet engine has allowed an unparalleled development of speed of travel across the globe, we must, symbolically, and without backlash of pollution or other damage, do the same for the notion of inventions.
We need to take a step forward, to continue an evolution that the old system does not allow. It is even prevented by its “individualistic” conception of innovation.

What structural objectives for the initiative?

The final goal is to participate in the co-creation of a Universal organization that will allow the new system of Universal Inventions to work. Regardless of the legal form of this administrative structure.
Whether it is a branch of one of the existing international institutions such as the United Nations, or a joint action of several of them. Or a foundation or federations of associations and cooperatives bearing and sharing the same desire to share inventions with all humanity.

What methods to reach them?

Such an ambition can only be achieved together. And if not all together, at least as many as possible. This is why the process will be done with co-creators.
